Introduction
In this article, we will discuss how to crack NEET in 5 months which is an important period. Every single day you lose is directly proportional to your chances of not securing a medical seat. So, time management becomes very, very important
1. Maintain Two Parallel Tracks
To prepare effectively for NEET in 5 months, you must maintain two parallel preparation tracks:
-
- Classroom Track
-
- Personal Preparation Track
Classroom Track-> You will be going to college/coaching classes where they will teach and provide certain tests which you cannot ignore — you must take it seriously and make time for it.
Personal Preparation Track-> In the last year or in the past few months, you would have covered a lot of chapters in class. But there are a few chapters in which you are not comfortable with, so you need to cover it up for which you need a personal preparation track.
One more important thing is that we have to control how we study Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology effectively. When you take the test series, there will be certain concepts you are not comfortable with. Therefore, it is important to cover all the concepts before attempting the test series.
Now, will see how to maintain personal track:

This means you need 56 additional hours for the preparation of concepts you are not comfortable with.
Your classroom track will be going on where tests will also be there, along with that, keep 2-3 hours everyday for personal track.
So, within 30 days you will be comfortable with all the concepts and you will be ready to take up the test series.
2. Set Daily Targets Based on Your capacity
You need to set your daily targets according to your capacity like how many concepts you can cover or how many MCQs you can solve
So, set daily targets and stick to them.
If you don’t, you won’t be serious, then you will lose an hour or a day and you will be going away from your medical seat.

3. How to solve the problems?
When solving questions — whether from Physics, Chemistry, or Biology — you should not refer to solutions immediately
Set a target to solve at least 100 questions in 1.5 to 2 hours.
Round 1– Try to solve all the questions without looking at the answers
Now, think you have solved 60 questions
Round 2– Read concepts for the remaining 40 questions and with conceptual enhancement and experience of solving 60 questions, think you have solved another 15 questions.
Round 3– Now, look at the solutions and solve the rest of the questions.
The thing is whenever you look at the solutions, it will alter the way with which you have to solve the problems.
4. When to start solving test-series?
Once you feel reasonably comfortable with all the major concepts, start practicing with a test series.
Choose any good NEET test series, for example::
Any reputed institute you are comfortable with
Note :-
-
- Write at least 1 full test series with full seriousness.
-
- You have to complete a minimum of 20 to 25 full-length mock question papers before the NEET exam.
5. Stay Away from Social Media
Social media can be one of the biggest distractions during NEET preparation.
Just delete all the social media applications so that the notifications do not distract you. Allocate a specific time — maybe once a week or whenever you’re comfortable. But during these 5 months, your focus must be entirely on NEET.
Conclusion
